FINAL PROJECT ACTIVITY - Wednesday,13rd July 2011

INTRODUCTION:
This project is addressed to children aged between 4-7 years. The 4 activities will be developed in 2 sessions of one hour each one.
The lessons will be embraced through the tale : "LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD" working the four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. These activities may be done in the computer room individually or in pair. Others can also be done in the classroom.

AIMS:

-The main objectives are:
-This tale will improve the four main skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
-To know the history of "Little red riding hood" in english.
-To know new vocabulary.

CONTENTS:
-Present simple
-Actions verbs

COMPETENCES:
-Competence in linguistic and audivisual communication.
-Competence in knowledge of an interection.
-Learning to learn.
-Autonomy and personal initative.

METHODOLOGY:
Children will work in  little groups.
With activities with the computer they will work in a big group.
With writing activities they will work individually or in pairs,and finally, for the speaking activity children will be work in little group.
Listening, reading and writing will be done in the computer room and the speaking activity in the classroom.


ACTIVITIES:
  • Comprehension: We are going to work together, so we can solve the comprehension problems and talk about it all together.  
Little Red Riding Hood is a little girl who lives in a forest! One day she went to visit her granny. Can you guess who she met in the wood?...
  • Writing and painting: The students are going to answer some questions about the story and also work some vocabulary and others from the story. In this activity students will work individually or in pairs.
